Sang Won LEE Partner
Mr. LEE is a legal expert who has successfully led high-profile cases that have reshaped the Korean legal landscape, I hold an unrivaled track record of success across family, criminal, and civil law. My approach goes beyond simple legal interpretation; I offer a keen insight into the essence of each case, delivering optimal results through creative and decisive strategies.

In Civil and Family Law, I represented Director Soh-yeong Noh in the appellate division of her divorce proceedings against the SK Group, securing a historic victory with a division of assets totaling KRW 1.3808 trillion and alimony of KRW 2 billion—a landmark ruling that set a new standard in family law. Additionally, I have demonstrated exceptional expertise in resolving complex, large-scale economic disputes, including obtaining an injunction for the suspension of validity for victimized companies in the KIKO (Knock-In Knock-Out) cases and prevailing in the high-stakes occupancy rights dispute between major retail conglomerates.

In the field of Criminal Law, I have consistently stood at the forefront of upholding constitutional values and the principles of evidence. I successfully secured a full acquittal in the first instance for former Chief Justice Yang Sung-tae in the judicial administrative abuse case and finalized a "not guilty" verdict for former Prime Minister Lee Wan-koo in the "Sung Wan-jong List" trial, representing the pinnacle of meticulous defense. Notably, my success in obtaining an acquittal in the "secret recording" case at an elementary school by strictly applying the Exclusionary Rule of Illegally Obtained Evidence, as well as the acquittal of a global semiconductor executive in a trade secret infringement case, substantiates my deep expertise in evidentiary law and industrial security.
